Volunteer at the Temple

DSC_3281If you’re interested in offering your service to Divine Mother Rajarajeswari, we invite you to volunteer at the Temple. Volunteering is a wonderful way to learn more, get involved, and experience inner transformation. Many have found that doing seva in the Temple deepens their connection with Devi and opens up a new experience of the culture of Sanatana Dharma.

The Sri Rajarajeswari Peetam is entirely run by volunteers. We believe that everyone has the right to participate in our sacred Temple culture. There are many opportunities for getting involved, from washing puja vessels, to chopping vegetables, assisting with the milk abhishekam, or helping to keep our Temple grounds clean and well-maintained. And if you’re interested in learning more about puja and other topics, volunteering is a great way to get hands-on experience.

All you have to do is come to the Temple Bookstore and let us know you’re interested in volunteering. You can also sign up for our Volunteer News email list if you want to hear about special seva opportunities or requests. (Make sure to check off “Volunteer News” before hitting the Subscribe button.)
