‘Evening of Question & Answer’ Session On The “Why” & “How” of Hindu Festivals

The purpose of this Question and Answer session is to educate the present generation on the science underlying the festival worship of the ancient, Sanatana Dharma. Most of us have fond memories of attending festivals. These were special days where worship and social interaction played an equal part and the entire process left the devotee with a feeling of peace and warmth and lasted for quite some time. Festivals are however, not only based on principles that are clear and profound but are also aimed at meeting specific objectives as laid down in the scriptures. Haran Aiya will, in his own inimitable fashion explain the whys and how of festivals and respond to the many questions that devotees around these occasions. See you there. Questions are accepted prior to the session through e-mail. It will be selected on 1st come 1st serve basses. The medium of instruction is English. Voluntary contributions are gratefully accepted to cover the expenses and to support Rajarajeswari Temple.
