The flag hoisting ceremony on the evening of the 22nd of September 2008 denotes the commencement of the Saradha Navarathri festival. The midday puja includes the SARVA DEVATHA Bali which will be offered on a daily basis until the conclusion of the festival.

| September 29th the directional deities will be installed at 7:00 am followed by the installation of the main kalasam.
Kalasa installations for the Shodasa Lakshmis, the Ashtalakshmis, will be performed in the Yagna Sala along with the Dig Devatas. "Vaancha Kalpa" Maha Ganapathi Homam, Sri Mahalakshmi samputitha Kubera Homam, elaborate Pancha Sukta Abhishekams and Alankarams will take place at 9.00 AM. The performance of the Sri Chakara puja will occur daily at 6.00PM.

| The main highlights of the night are: |
- October 1st The Devi as Sri Durga will be conveyed around the temple after the evening puja.
- October 4th The Devi as Sri Maha Lakshmi will be conveyed around the temple after the evening puja.
- October 8th The Devi as Sri Saraswathi will be conveyed around the temple after the evening puja.
- October 9th There will be a chandi homam commencing at 4:30 am. The day concludes with the Devi being conveyed around the temple in a Ratham. The "Vidyarambam", the beginning of literacy ceremony for children will take place in the evening.
- October 10th Features the water cutting ceremony with the flag coming down in the evening followed by the Bhairava Bali.
- October 11th KULIRTHI Abhishekam and uthvasanam of the directional deities will mark the end of the festival.
